This a very familiar chapter with the recording of what are now well known miracles Jesus had performed and images of people flocking to see him as word was spreading like wild fire of who he was and what he was doing. Great images to think about.

22 Jesus knew what they were thinking and asked, “Why are you thinking these things in your hearts?
He know's whats on my mind and heart I need to make sure both focused on him because while I might be able to fake out people here on earth there is no faking out him.

One thing that I don't like about Luke. It moved too fast. These are HUGE moments in history. And they take a couple of lines. I've heard it said that Luke was a doctor, and therfore looks at things in that light.....I can definitely see that. He is purely giving the facts. No emotion, not editorial, just jumps from event to event.

do you remember that? When we were kids and we did the skit of lowering the paralyzed man down fron the roof......too funny! That still makes me laugh. That one and "OK, I'm lost" hahahahah....to much!
