this world would be much fewer in numbers if God took the life of every single man or woman who was with a married man or woman.
I don't have much else to take here, but it is interesting that Abraham is again demonstrating lack of trust with his lies. In fact its almost exactly the same situation as before, yet he does it and God continues to use him.

ReplyDeleteYeah, everytime Abraham doesn't trust in God to take care of him....someone suffers. In this case it was his wife and King Abimelek. I think for us its a little more understandable to fall into the trust trap....we don't see God, or have him come an visit us. But Abraham did. It's amazing to me that he keeps acting this way. Perhaps if I was in his shoes, I would do the same thing. Its hard to really understand what its like to live someone elses life, in another time.
