Yeah, I'm with ya....... the one question that pops into my head as I'm reading thru this, is that its all retro-active. So, if you sin this way, you must atone in this manner. If you sin this other way, you must atone in this manner. There isn't anything in here about how to appropriate your herd, or your belongings, in accordance to how God would like to see it. In other words, it reads as if the only time you are giving of your wealth, is to atone for you sins.......and you need to kill something. What about giving some live animals to atone for your sins.....and those could be used to God's work.
