Psalms 128-130

3 If you, Lord, kept a record of sins,
Lord, who could stand?
4 But with you there is forgiveness,
so that we can, with reverence, serve you.

from 130

I didn't have a lot this morning.  But, this verse is a great reminder of how grateful we need to be.  I find myself wondering how different the look of forgiveness was to those that lived before Jesus.  It was obviously something God offered to them, but it was different.

  1. 128:
    1 Blessed are all who fear the Lord,
    who walk in obedience to him.
    2 You will eat the fruit of your labor;
    blessings and prosperity will be yours.
    3 Your wife will be like a fruitful vine
    within your house;
    your children will be like olive shoots
    around your table.

    no commentary really but I like the blessings he promises for being obedient to him.
