This is a tough one to get any nuggets out of.
I suppose we could look at the specific instructions that God is laying out here. I don't feel like I get that much direction, or have that level of his involvement. That is something that I'm certain, I am dis-abling with my own broken-ness. I strive for that interaction.

well sorry to dissappoint. I've done some research this Saturday morning, people have written a lot about this chapter and there are a lot of map images on google representing the 12 tribes on the map. I haven't gotten any specific take aways but have enjoyed the journey it has taken me on this morning. Digging through background has gotten me back through time. Reading Jacob's story laid out in bite size pieces on Wiki, then to Edomites and into other areas. So my reading today is not about Ezekial but about all the perfect connections spread throughout the Word. It fascinates me and this morning when I don't have to worry about rushing off to work I am enjoying sitting in silence pouring through all sorts of material and just getting lost in the word and time. i need to make time for this more often. As I teype I notice that the tensions I had when I woke up worrying about work temporarily dissappeared as I found rest in the word.
ReplyDeletenow there is a take that started as writing I found nothing and grew just from spending time in the word. i haven't looked above to see what i typed. i stopped and did some research then came back and kept typing. so what just read may make no sense because it is spread out over the course of the last 45min.
