Daniel 8

27 I, Daniel, was worn out. I lay exhausted for several days. Then I got up and went about the king’s business. I was appalled by the vision; it was beyond understanding.

Well I'm not sure what to take from this chapter, but for some reason this is the verse that jumps out the most to me though I don't have any takeaways to share.  I'm a bit blank, maybe a bit preoccupied and distracted during my reading.  Any good takes?

  1. 26 “The vision of the evenings and mornings that has been given you is true, but seal up the vision, for it concerns the distant future.”

I copied the same verse. It almost feels like these visions are a burden to him. They terrify him, and exhaust him.
I'm not sure what to really take from it either. I would be interested in reading someone's interpretation of this entire chapter. Though, it would have to be written by someone that is really trustworthy. If you google "prophecies of Daniel", you get lots of crazy stuff. Lot of opinions.
I will do some more digging and see what I find. Not because I want to fully understand what all the visions mean, but more because I'm interested in why God was giving these visions to Daniel. What was the purpose. Especially, to show him glimpses of the end times. Seems like there must be a good reason. (mostly, 'cause God ALWAYS has a good reason!)

God, I pray that you keep Chris and Gina safe in Cabo. Watch over them. Bless them. Give them rest and fun! Give them a safe journey home. Let yourself be visible to their kids while they are away.

    peace
