Today we drop Luke off for college. Where does time go, seems like we should still be the 18 yr kids. I'm sad to not have him around everyday but excited for him to start this next adventure. I pray that he finds friendship like you and I have that endures and has a foundation in his faith.

ReplyDeleteThat's a BIG day. I completely understand the mixed emotion. I'm not looking forward to it. I saw a little bit of that last weekend, as Kevin and Sheri put Jessie on a plane for Rome for a semester. Letting go is hard on a lot of levels. Not to mention the day to day friendship that will change.
Like I said, I'm not looking forward to it. But, like you said, hopefully he finds a good group of dudes that will support him and give him a good sense of direction.
I will keep him in my prayers.....that I'm working on.
