Romans 12

Again, I read from the message version.  Here's how it opens.

12 1-2 So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.

that is as clear of direction as I've read  That is COMPLETELY tactical.  I love it.
I think I should write this on my mirror, so I see it every morning.

I'm out in Vegas next week with SEMA.  So, I'll catch up when I get back.

  1. No kidding, I love this chapter! Everything in it is so easy to understand and very tactical like you said which makes it feel much easier to apply to our daily lives.

21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

There are so many versus I could quote, our society in the US needs to read this and live it out. Everyone is so quick to judge others and not just lightly but with venom. thats not our job!

hope SEMA goes well, I have quite a few friends out there racing this past weekend at the national event and this coming weekend at the points meet.
