31 So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. 32 Do not cause anyone to stumble, whether Jews, Greeks or the church of God— 33 even as I try to please everyone in every way. For I am not seeking my own good but the good of many, so that they may be saved.
Nothing great today. There's a lot written here about food and the purity of it having to do with idols and sacrifice. I do like how the chapter ends. No matter what you are doing....do it for the glory of God. Do it in such a way as to bring the light to others, don't cause them to stumble.

21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too; you cannot have a part in both the Lord’s table and the table of demons.
ReplyDeleteI liked the versus you picked as well and agree with your take. This verse I think speaks to choosing sinful behavior almost in a carefree way knowing that I can always fall back on God to forgive me. I guess all sin is a choice, but maybe there is a difference in falling to temptation without even trying or worrying about resisting versus willfully choosing sinful actions without any true remorse.
not sure I hit on anything, struggled for nuggets today
