I always struggle with the songs in scripture. It's a bit of a story recap, and without the assistance of harps and cowbells, it can be tough. This command seems so simple. Yet, I know they are going to mess this up over and over and over again. When I read the dialogue, the Israelites seem so weak minded.....just like me. hahaha.

He reveals himself and his power but then leaves it up to us to choose him. Must be hard to watch us make bad choices repeatedly throughout the time of humanity.
not sure if you heard but Gary Dorhout died from cancer yesterday. Sounds like its been a rough fight. When I hear names like his it makes me feel like a kid. It seems so long ago but I have his friendly smile etched in my mind. I would like to be remembered like that by others some day. Long ago but fast all at once, time is a wierd thing.
