9 Then Moses told Aaron, “Say to the entire Israelite community, ‘Come before the Lord, for he has heard your grumbling.’”
I have a strange take on this chapter. This verse reminds me that Moses was "slow of speech" and that his brother Aaron most likely did most of the talking. So, our romantic vision of Moses verbally battling with Pharaoh, and then addressing the Israelite nation.....probably isn't correct. God was working through Moses, and then from him to Aaron. It seems a tough path to take. But, this re-iterates the power of God. That he could take down the powerful Egyptian nation with someone who don't talk so good.
He is truly the Supreme!

27 Nevertheless, some of the people went out on the seventh day to gather it, but they found none.
ReplyDeleteIts clear that we people will always have some in ability to believe or follow His instruction. After all they have been through they just either don't listen or still don't believe. Seems ridiculous, but then I reflect and realize I do the same. My story may not have quite the bling of some of the miracles they have seen but I certainly have enough proof in my life of His power that you would think I would always listen for and follow his instruction.
