quick take today. It seems the people that anger God the most, are always the religious leaders. Jesus faced the same thing with the Pharisees and the only time he got outwardly angry was in the temple. Isn't that a strange thing to think about? The people that sometimes are the farthest from God's heart are those that are supposed to be the closest.....weird.

I picked this just because I always like the clear predictions of Jesus coming, in this case written 700 years before he arrived as a baby on earth. Pretty awesome and i'm here reading it over 2000 years later--so more like 3000 from the time it was written. cool.
to your point--scary that those who should be closest are the farthest because it makes me think how easy it is to lose that focus we should have on God.
