Why, God, did you make us wander from your ways?
Why did you make us cold and stubborn
so that we no longer worshiped you in awe?
I kept going today until something grabbed me.....and almost at the end of 63, there it was.
This spells out the frustration I feel . I understand the notion of freewill. But, once I make the decision to follow him and see the world through his eyes....I want it to be easy. I don't want to have to fight everyday for it. I don't want o be this stubborn.
But, I am.
And today, I will fight the fight once again.

Perfect reason why we do this together. Had read 61-2 a few days back and got nothing, been tied up with work this week got back and read through to 63--still nothing. Then I open to see what you found. I had blown right past this verse, but boy is it applicable. thanks for finding it and sharing your own challenges, I am with you.
ReplyDeleteI know i've been sparse this week and next maybe the same with spring break. We are going to mexico. Hopefully we are not stuck there or in quarantine for 14 days on our return.
