8 A third time the LORD called, “Samuel!” And Samuel got up and went to Eli and said, “Here I am; you called me.”
Then Eli realized that the LORD was calling the boy.
I don't think I'm very good at listening for God. This chapter tells me not only do I need to do a better job of listening to those times God is clearly speaking too me and I am either ignoring it or allowing other noise to drown him out--but also a responsibility I have to help both Luke and Katelyn learn to listen for when God may be speaking to them and help them learn to have their own relationship with him.
