This, perhaps, sums it up better than any verse I've read in the last couple of chapters.....
13 "Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love."
I liked this book. Its very tactical (like we've said a couple of times).
Paul seems to direct a lot of energy into how the people of the church should act and treat each other, to make the church more effective. I wonder what he would say if he could walk into our churches today.......hmmmmmmmm. I think he thought of the church as being a group of people, and we tend to think of the church as a building where we meet.

same verse I was looking at, I always like the concise but powerful statements. I agree he really gives a lot of great instruction. I'm always how on point these teachings are for today--very durable across time.
