The guilt offering says they needed to pay for sins they didn't even know they committed. So yesterday I said I need to pray for specific sins today I will say but I should also ask for forgiveness for those I don't even realize I've done. Gotta cover all bases I guess
seems a bit of a "just in case" strategy, doesn't it? When I think about the sins I committ....some are very intentional, and I make the decision to do them, even though I know its not the right thing....and then there are some that just happen at the spur of the moment. I suppose those are the ones that are being discussed here. I struggle a little bit with the "specific" tag. There are sins that haunt me and I can clearly remember them, but mostly because I'm a sinful, broken person........I do lots of things wrong. I can't imagine having to make a sacrifice for each thing. I wouldn't have much of a herd of animals left. I would just be standing there, covered in blood.
