Job 27-28

ch 28:28 And he said to the human race, “The fear of the Lord—that is wisdom,
and to shun evil is understanding.”

We are back from Chicago, didn't bring home any trophies but had a good time with the family.

I didn't find anything in particular in these two chapters to comment on but liked this last verse.  If you fear the Lord you have some wisdom but if you really push evil aside you are demonstrating not only do you fear but you get it.  Your actions speak louder than your words.

not sure if that hits the mark but that's how I took it.

  1. What hope do people without God have when life is cut short?
when God puts an end to life?
Do you think God will listen to their cry for help
    when disaster hits?
What interest have they ever shown in the Almighty?
Have they ever been known to pray before?

This verse caught my attention. I often think about how hard life would be without God. Completely relying on myself for everything. I can't imagine. There is a certain "its gonna be alright" that I have because I know he's in control and not me. I wouldn't want the pressure of trying to make everything happen for me............for me is the key here..
