Zechariah 10

I’ll whistle and they’ll all come running.
I’ve set them free—oh, how they’ll flourish!
Even though I scattered them to the far corners of earth,
they’ll remember me in the faraway places.

I will assume this is talking about us?  Maybe?
I find myself reading these minor prophets in multiple translations everyday.  Its tough for me to grasp what's being discussed on a chapter by chapter basis.  Perhaps we may need to read the entire book, and then write about that.  I'm finding little snipets of things, instead of big a-ha's.

My snipet for the day.......in this chapter I can feel a real love, and an ownership of God toward his people.  I find it very comforting.  Even though they continue to live a broken existence...he still claims them as his own, and has a desire to further them, and bless them.  It gives me hope.

  1. I am having the same trouble, in fact this morning i read 10 and 11 but had no thoughts so you did better than I did! if i come up blank again I may keep reading as you suggest to get a broader picture before commenting. so if i'm silent on a subsequent day it may be that I'm collecting my thoughts...it may also be that I slept in on Thanksgiving. :)
