Pretty basic, go to God daily and involve him in all parts of my life. Don't just show up on days when I have issues or needs that I have determined are beyond my own control and would like to invite him to get a little temporary assistance.

ReplyDeletethis line caught my attention today. We've been working through a series at church that talks about Science vs Faith. Do they need to be separated, and can both lead you to God. Its been really good. But, one snipit that I liked was when our pastor was talking about living in blind faith, and not investigating God. He was talking about observing all the traditions, but never seeking out God. He called that "religion". Its a very similar concept to what this chapter is talking about..
the other section that I liked.....probably because it requires no translation, or context....its this;
“‘Treat one another justly.
Love your neighbors.
Be compassionate with each other.
Don’t take advantage of widows, orphans, visitors, and the poor.
Don’t plot and scheme against one another—that’s evil.’
