27 Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. 28 This is my blood of the[b]covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
Our pastor just used this verse in our service yesterday. He said, "...isn't it amazing that Jesus is telling us to do something in remembrance of him.....that hasn't happened yet?" That is pretty mind blowing. If you are like me, sometimes doubt can creep into my reasoning. Then I hear something like this. It solidifies everything. There can be no doubt.
I think there is enough in this chapter to write a book on. Lots of lessons. Lots of things to think about. Many sermons right out of this chapter.
