I didn't really grab much today. Although, this verse jumped out at me, especially in the context of what we were talkin about yesterday.

I find myself trying to walk a really fine line with the kids lately. I really want to give them the opportunity to find their own faith. I don't want to force it one em. But, when I relax a little....they seem to not be as interested.
As I'm writing this........a phrase is kicking me in the head.
"be the example"
If I model it, they will be much more likely to follow it, than if I'm just preaching it.

very funny you were saying model it, God must be speaking to us. I was thinking the same thing, Luke especially doesn't seem too interested in going to church or certainly studying the bible and I was thinking about it during the last two days I need to get him into it more. Then I thought, he'll be ok he'll grow into it if he continues to see me doing it. let's both keep trying to model it. Part of that fits with part II, model it with our wives too. i agree this is one area I don't struggle, I love my life with my wife. Not only do I not want to do anything to jeopardize that, I'm not even interested in those things that would jeopardize that so its pretty easy.
