Ezekial 28

²⁵ “‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: When I gather the people of Israel from the nations where they have been scattered, I will be proved holy through them in the sight of the nations. Then they will live in their own land, which I gave to my servant Jacob.


I know we will not know when the end times are here, but reading chapters like this makes it seem like we should have some pretty clear clues.  I wonder what it will look like when the nations are gathered back in Israel.  What will the turn of events be, or am I missing it and it has already happened?  The next verse talks of their living in saftey which watching the news does not seem to be their life today.

I am struggling with finding nuggets from these chapters to apply to my life.  I guess in today's chapter the early part I can relate to thinking I'm in control and that the gifts in my life are of my own doing not from God.  I think I do get that, though I'm sure my actions do not always illustrate to God that I know he is the source of all my blessings.
