1 Kings 5

I don't have a great take today.  Just a feeling of what a BIG deal the temple was, is.
To employ that many men just to start to pull together the raw materials needed, is really incredible.  I don't think of Lebanon being full of cedar and juniper.  Maybe it was, and this is the reason it isn't anymore!

The other thing that strikes me is how beneficial it is to foster relationships.  Much of the raw materials came to Solomon through the relationships his father fostered.

The question I have is, what is "forced labor"?  Are they using slaves?  It sounds like it.
