1 Corinthians 1...again, not non-existent 17

10 I appeal to you, brothers and sisters,[a] in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.

It sure didn't take long for humans to start mucking it up.  Even in the early days of the church there was in fighting and apparently conflict among leaders.  If we let denominational differences distract or within a single church differences in opinion become the focus, then we risk losing the opportunity to spread the message and good news we came together to share in the first place.

Prayer together for God to share his will and direction is always a good way to try to discern and unite in my opinion.

Happy New Year brother--2018 hard to believe!  Hope your Christmas and New Year were filled with relaxation and family!  Our was, we spent last weekend in Waterloo with our gang and the previous week just hanging out in Grimes.  Back at it today.
