19 (for the law made nothing perfect), and a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God.

this line made me think a little bit.  The original covenant of animal sacrifice to atone for sins only covered the problem.  Something was still dying each time.  Only in Jesus did the sacrifice make things perfect.  The law didn't

  1. 28 For the law appoints as high priests men in all their weakness; but the oath, which came after the law, appointed the Son, who has been made perfect forever.

    I didn't get much either, maybe spun through it too quickly. Along the same vein as you wrote, created a new path for mankind. Thank goodness because the path of pure law is a tough one.
