14 Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.
Boy, I feel this one lately. We've been going to multiple graduation parties on the weekends, which are fun...but they are an easy reminder of how fast the time goes by. I was putting together the picture collage for Max's party, and the photos seem like they were taken yesterday. Its amazing. The older I get, the more I realize that time moves so fast, we need to be more conscious of what we are doing.
To relate it back to the chapter....we don't know when our time will be up. We need to be further-ing his kingdom with the time we have. Many times, I'm too busy working on my own kingdom.

You picked out the verse that hit me the most too, time is precious and we really have little of it here on earth. Am I making the most of it for God or myself.
ReplyDelete17 If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them.
this one is a little convicting for me because its saying inaction is actually a sin when you know there is action you should take. I think I'm so protective of my time that I am not engaging in things I probably should that are outside of my little sphere which is mostly my family.
