This one really doesn't need much commentary. Prayer is a powerful tool. I should use it more. This is an area that I'm still struggling with, to form a habit of quiet time to listen and pray.

ReplyDeleteThis is a pretty easy trap to fall in living in the US and making a pretty top dollar. If you are doing well in the US then it puts you in very rare air for the entire world. Think of 7 billion people in the world--we are sitting at the very top of the heap. So while I think we do a decent job not living at the level of luxury our income would afford, by world standards we might appear to be pretty self indulging. Just need to keep in check, I do not want to be fattening up for the slaughter.
