8 8 Keep falsehood and lies far from me;
give me neither poverty nor riches,
but give me only my daily bread.
I really like this short paragraph. It says a lot about the author's heart. He just wants to be enabled to follow God, and he knows what his issues are. I think that speaks volumes of his wisdom. To me, he's saying.....please don't put me in a position where I can be tricked. Please don't make me suffer in need, but also don't give me so much that I don't lean on you to provide.
There is power in those 3 lines.

I spent my time looking for the 3 things--is that the Trinity?? But I like what you selected and especially for me the daily bread. We are so blessed that I am sure at times I don't lean on God to provide. thanks for highlighting that one, I need that grounding.
