Song of Solomon 6-7

10 10 I belong to my beloved,

Well...I've been reading this for a couple of days.  Not much new striking me.  I even went further into chapter 7.  All I came up with is the short portion of verse 10 in chapter 7.  It reminds me that when you make a commitment to someone, you are really forming a bond of "belonging."  This isn't temporary, or fragile.  It is permanent, and needs to be treated as such.

That's all I got.

  1. I rushed through it and didn't pick up much but in ch7 in the Message version it talked about the man being spoiled for anyone else because he is so caught up in her inward and outward beauty. I little bit like you are saying--our love for our wives and theirs for us should be something that endures not something fleeting.

i continue to be traveling for work and missing my morning times. I'm now in town for a couple weeks but then I'll go to Las Vegas two long weekends in a row to pursue my addiction for racing. sitting at #5 in national points with a chance to improve as well as protect my top ten status--friends said gotta go for it, so we are! someone is hauling my car out and I'm flying in. so anyway I still may be a little tardy over the coming weeks.
