6 I opened for my beloved,
but my beloved had left; he was gone.
My heart sank at his departure.[a]
I looked for him but did not find him.
I called him but he did not answer.
I struggled for any application today. Maybe just a continuation of previous chapters demonstrating the pure love I should have for Gina and her for me. Also don't miss opportunities to talk with your spouse, take every one of them even if in the moment you were feeling tired and inconvenienced. I'd say don't be like her and miss a chance for some loving, but I just don't see a guy having that problem too often.

I read this one for a couple of days.....waiting for you to catch back up. No guilt intended...hahaha.
ReplyDeleteI struggle with it to. One thing that jumped out to me was all the prep that was involved back then, to put yourself in a position to be intimate. Washing of the feet, drenching yourself in perfume.
There is also an undertone, of whatever comes your way in the pursuit of love, is worth it. Don't be deterred.
