an aggressive nation of strange speech,

the gifts will be brought to Mount Zion, the place of the Name of the Lord Almighty.
Might this nation be the US? tall people, feared around the world, divided by the Mississippi and others? hmmm
I found others that wondered the same thing, but I also sense they are wantingly (if thats a word) reading into the bible for a prophecy that includes the US. So i think i'd need to do a lot more research before I came to this as a conclusion. But it is an interesting thought that the US might be a part of what was written in the bible.

I remember reading some things around Ephriam and Menassah..where people were speculating about the US. It could be. But, the description is pretty vague. Tal people sounds scandanavian....most countries are divided by rivers. Strange speech sounds like some of the African nations that have the clicks and pops....who knows right?
ReplyDeleteThe message we need to remember is whatever nation they are talking about, will bow down to the Lord Almighty. Not matter how strong a people there is.....God is infinitely stronger.
I'm finding these chapters pretty dry.
