17 My eyes are on all their ways; they are not hidden from me, nor is their sin concealed from my eyes.
We have the gift of Grace and by Jesus our sins are forgiven. That said, that doesn't mean have zero disciple. This verse takes me back to my teenage years when I was doing are saying things that I knew in my heart were wrong I would often think about the fact that God is seeing it whether or not anyone else even knew. He knows all my ways, let that fact be known to me at all times so that I behave in a way that pleases him--all day everyday.

It's a tough thing to realize that God sees even the stuff that I don't let ANYONE see. My selfish and ugly thoughts.
ReplyDelete16 “But now I will send for many fishermen,” declares the Lord, “and they will catch them.
I thought this verse was krazy! He's talking about how he will gather his people back together and the first analogy he uses is fisherman. And we know that a lot of the disciples were fisherman. That blows my mind. It shows me that God is COMPLETLEY in control and time doesn't matter much to him. He knew what was coming then. He knows what is coming now.
All the stuff that society cares about, talks about, gossips about......does it stand the test of time like this kind of knowledge? Absolutely not.
