If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.
I have access to the one who created the universe, yet how often do I go to him to help me with decisions? I tend to go my own way until it gets really rough then I call on him. How about I seek him in daily conversation and learn to go to him with all my decisions and also take the model he shows me and use it when asked for insight from others---don't judge just help.

ReplyDeleteBut......sometimes I don't feel like that wisdom comes when I ask for it. We've had some ROUGH times here at the Parker house over the past 2 years. I have consistently cried out for help and wisdom. I don't really think I can say that request has been met. Frustrating to say that. I believe all good comes from being connected to God.
Perhaps my timing and his timing are not on the same scale here. I'm willing to relent to that fact. I do fully trust him. But, man.....sometimes it ain't easy!

I feel for you guys and have had my own persistent prayers which we have talked about doing that haven't felt like I've received direction or answers. maybe I'm not listening or maybe timing like you said but its frustrating and scary. God help us to remain faithful is my prayer for my brother in Christ and me.
