Nothing too heavy here.
Just an ironic twist that David spends considerable time in the land of Goliath's people. I didn't realize that. I always pictured David as a sworn enemy of the Phillisitines. I guess from the Phillistines perspective, they might think that any enemy of Saul, is a friend to them. That allows David to exist there, without being hassled.
I didn't know that either. Raiding and killing almost seems like a game, just something that David does matter of fact that it makes life seem cheap. I don't follow why this is okay or significant enough that it is documented for us to read about.?
ReplyDeletethey make special note to say that he kills everything. People/animals/children.......seems very curious
