The constant battle of my good intentions versus my sinful nature, captured right here in Romans. I'm not sure it makes me feel better but it does help me understand that the struggle to follow God's law has existed since he gave us his law. Again, thankfully there is grace for to cover my shortcomings.
This one IS me. I've struggled with the same thing that Paul is talking about here. If I'm not careful, it can really get me down on myself. I like how you wrote thank goodness for the grace of God to cover for that sinful side.
ReplyDeleteSay a couple of quick prayers for us, if you would. We decided a week ago to list our house for sale. The market seems to be picking up a little, we have some cash saved, and interest rates are still really low. It seems like a good time to look around. We both said if this is God's plan, he will show us that plan. Fast forward 2 days and our house is sold for more than our asking price, and we don't have anything lined up to move into. Luckily the buyer gave us 60 days to close. So, we have some time to look, but its stressfull!
