Tomorrow (Monday) we will be sharing with my new team at work that we will be engaging with a 3rd party service provider to work with us to redesign some of our processes which will impact their jobs. I fully expect everyone will have a job when we are all done, but it may be different than today potentially even promotions for some. That said it will be a time of uncertainty for them and they may doubt where we are taking them or if they will have a job.
My boss and one of my direct reports will handle the heavy lifting in sharing with the team of about 50 people and I will chime in with my support. Given my relative newness to the group (started in Dec 1st) pray for me that I will demonstrate my genuine concern for their well being and that they will receive the message and feel some level of peace that we aren't yanking them around.
