12 There is a way that appears to be right,
but in the end it leads to death.
Don't fake it and follow God's direction without having His Spirit in your heart. It may look like you are going down the right path to everyone in this world through your good works, but it will lead to hell without having your heart given to God.

Even if we did everything right, it doesn't protect us from the broken-ness of this world. But, relief will come in the end.
