Acts 24-25

Then Paul took the stand and said simply, “I’ve done nothing wrong against the Jewish religion, or the Temple, or Caesar. Period.”

I'm enjoying the story and the history but in any given chapter I don't find and striking takeaways.  One thing I am noting is that by Paul living within the laws of the land he is taking away any potential ammunition that might be fabricated against him as a red herring for why they really want to take him down.

That probably still applies today.  If we want to be the best advocate for Jesus one thing we need is credibility and keeping ghosts out of our closets is helpful in that regard.

Continued prayers for God's prescence for you and Kim and calm for Max.

  1. I'm with ya, on the assessment. I like reading about how Paul navigates all the craziness, but I'm not pulling any gold outta here.

Max seems to be doing a little better. He got stressed at the funeral and told me he was "obsessing" again. Other than that, he seems to be doing well.....but I haven't asked him about it directly. Maybe I don't want the answer.
