Doesn't this sound exactly like our society today? When Zophar is describing the "evil" people, it sounds like someone describing western culture.

unfortunately it strikes closer to home than just society overall. Though I try not to be materialistic its hard to argue that I don't have an element of that driving me. I spend thousands a year on drag racing, buying parts to go a little faster and then when I'm faster I need just one more part for another grand. I have a motor home but I want a diesel pusher. I make more money than I ever dreamed yet we can consume it rather easily. I don't think I have a problem but that may only be relative to others in today's society. God may look at me and say, this boy has issues!
