5 This is what the Lord says:
“What fault did your ancestors find in me,

its like ground-hogs day. Over and over again. We stray from focus. I love God's question here. In most cases you could find a reason why you are turning away from something. But, in this case.....its pure stupidity and selfishness. There is no fault in God, and no reason can be given to turn away from him....other than we think we can be our own God. How dumb does that sound? As I write it, I can't believe I still struggle with being my own God on a daily basis.
I can't imagine his level of patience...just to deal with us.
He's amazing.
Amazing Grace
The same verse caught my attention. Its such a simple question, I think it demonstrates unbelief. We know the consequences of not believing are eternal, so if we truly believe that what in the world would cause us to do anything that would put that in jeopardy.
