12 I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things?
This is one of those very familiar parts of the bible and reveals the way we to salvation of being reborn. The verse above just sparked my imagination. What amazing things will we see in heaven that we have no concept of today? Its interesting to think of Jesus separating what he knows and only speaking about things that are on earth that those he is speaking to know.
The world and universe are so big, yet they are only what we know imagine what the a first moment in heaven will be like---that will be an exciting moment!

that kind of thinking is really interesting to me.....and at the same time it hurts my head. I readily accept the fact that God is so far more advanced than me...that I can't imagine or comprehend those "heavenly things". After all....if I was hip to everything about God, then he wouldn't be a very grand God.
ReplyDelete16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
This is the probably the most obvious verse in the NT...but, I still love reading it. Where Jeremiah was a struggle, in this book I find myself reading to far, and becoming too immersed in what I'm reading. Its a complete change.
