Revelation 6

16 They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us[f] from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!

So we have the different colored horses each with a special meaning probably beyond me, I remember this section now.  I'm not sure what to take away again from this chapter but I did think what a terrible time to be on the wrong side of Jesus when he comes back.  The wrath of the Lamb is not something anyone should want to suffer.

  1. 12-17 I watched while he ripped off the sixth seal: a bone-jarring earthquake, sun turned black as ink, moon all bloody, stars falling out of the sky like figs shaken from a tree in a high wind, sky snapped shut like a book, islands and mountains sliding this way and that. And then pandemonium, everyone and his dog running for cover—kings, princes, generals, rich and strong, along with every commoner, slave or free.

This is taken from just before your quote. I like it because it shows me 2 things......first, the unbelievable power that God has to bring everything to its knees like this. The second is that it doesn't matter what standing the people have, they are all running in fear. It says the rich and the commoners alike are effected the same way. God doesn't discriminate into social class, as we do. He is coming to judge everyone according to their hearts.....not their status.
