21 But as he left, he promised, “I will come back if it is God’s will.” Then he set sail from Ephesus.
I didn't get much of a take today. The one thing I noted was how much Paul moves around. I'm not sure how he chose where to go next but I have a feeling he was just going wherever he felt the Spirit was leading him and he had complete trust in doing that no matter what risk he might perceive. He just wanted to do God's will.
I don't know that I could let go of my own desires so completely as Paul, though he modeled the way.

He did move around a lot. But, he stayed in some places for a time. I think it was Corinth that he stayed for a year and a half. This seems to be a highlight reel of his travels. Very condensed.
ReplyDelete11 God did extraordinary miracles through Paul, 12 so that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick, and their illnesses were cured and the evil spirits left them.
That's a pretty powerful statement. Even the cloth that touched him was special. Amazing that he was that in-tune with the Holy Spirit.
