1 John 3

Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.

Today is more of a question for the collective......how do I rectify this passage with my own shortcomings and lack of ability to stop sinning against God?  Its verses like this that make me feel very uneasy and uncomfortable with my own position and standing.

yes--this one is convicting. I don't think I know anyone who would say they no longer sin, so I'm not sure how to reconcile with this verse.
