Deuteronomy 31

The LORD has said to me, ‘You shall not cross the Jordan.’

The thing that really stands out from todays reading is how GRAND God's plan is.  Moses is one of the greatest heros in human history, and God's plan was unbelievably larger than him.  For all he did to further the mission of God, Moses didn't even get to see the promised land.  Would I be okay with that?

Sometimes........most times........every time........I want to see the end of God's plan.  My self centered attitude won't allow me to look past myself.  I have often felt the nudging of God to do something, but have never stopped to think that maybe Max or Ben might finish what he starts in me today.  Or, maybe it will be their children that still work towards the goal that I start.  I think that put a completely different perspective on the things I do.  It also changes my perspective on my kids.

Short and sweet today.
Have a great weekend!
