24 Then Joshua, together with all Israel, took Achan son of Zerah, the silver, the robe, the gold bar, his sons and daughters, his cattle, donkeys and sheep, his tent and all that he had, to the Valley of Achor.
If we don't act honorably in the sight of God.....we can bring down everything around us. With him we can accomplish tremendous things. If we are carrying covered sins, buried under our tents, it can mean complete destruction in our lives.
That's about all I want to write on that one. I can feel the weight of that one bearing down.
Thank God for Jesus, and the grace he brings!
yes this is a little sobering, how often do I act in a way that risks bringing down everything around me---why would I take such a risk. Yes, thank you God for Jesus.
