I decided to lump a lot of the allotment text together. I'm sure theres some golden nuggets in there, but I'm not scholarly enough to figure them out.
This is an excerpt from chapter 22
10 When they came to Geliloth near the Jordan in the land of Canaan, the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh built an imposing altar there by the Jordan. 11 And when the Israelites heard that they had built the altar on the border of Canaan at Geliloth near the Jordan on the Israelite side, 12 the whole assembly of Israel gathered at Shiloh to go to war against them.
I'm not sure I'm willing to go to war with my fellow people, because they aren't following God's law. It turned out okay in this instance......but, I think its great to have the accountability in place.
Short today.....hopefully, it will pick up as the reading gets more interesting.
