Joshua 14 - t

.....because you have followed the LORD my God wholeheartedly.

that's the challenge.

Caleb first appears as one of the 12 spies sent into the promised land.  10 of the spies came back and were scared by what they saw.  They spread word among the people about how big the people were, and how strong the city defenses were.  Caleb and Joshua were the only ones that stayed strong in the faith in the Lord.  I found this cross referenced in Numbers 14......ish

I have to be a little careful with this one.  I can easily go to a place in my brain, where this is telling me that if I follow him wholeheartedly.....then I get stuff.
I don't think that what is being said here.  To me, its more along the lines of

Psalm 1
1 Blessed is the one
who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take
or sit in the company of mockers,
2 but whose delight is in the law of the LORD,
and who meditates on his law day and night.
3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither—
   whatever they do prospers.

 4 Not so the wicked!
   They are like chaff
   that the wind blows away.
5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

6 For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.

this is the way that Caleb was "blessed".
