No darkness at all. The closer I can get to Jesus and the more of him I have in me the more it will squeeze out the bad stuff and feelings that are sometimes in my mind and my heart.

I went away to camp this weekend with about 150 middle school kids. The theme for the retreat was "consumed". that' exactly what you're talking about. Being so consumed with God, that there isn't room for all the crappy stuff. It was a fun weekend, and it was great when you could see the light come on for the kids. They don't need to try to get the right clothes, or care if other kids tease them, or be worried about their social status, if they are consumed with God.....its very freeing.
