I think I can use this one at work. There is often tension between personalities in my new role. All good people but passionate and coming from different perspectives. Rather than responding to aggressive statements with my own cutting sarcasm maybe I can be more direct but at the same time soft in tone to prevent stirring up frustration and anger.

I agree. its seems like an easy thing to write, but difficult to put into practcie. I'm constantly in contentious situation here at GM as well.....I'll try to keep this vese in mind.
ReplyDeleteI was also thinking about the kids when I read that verse. The way I react to their behaviour can sometimes be too harsh, and actually instigate more bad behaviour. I think if I could keep this verse in mind when I deal with them, it would really help them.
yes, I can totally relate. I can turn into a little kid with my attitude sometimes dealing with the kids.
